May Legends of Norrath Championship Qualifier
Gen Con Indy is getting closer so now's the time to win a place in the Legends of Norrath Championships this August! Participants can compete in this two-day event for $5,000 USD in prizes, a paid trip to Gen Con to compete against the best Legends of Norrath players, and for the winner's likeness to be portrayed on an upcoming Legends of Norrath card! Day One of the May Legends of Norrath Championship Qualifier consists of one or more heats (scheduled to start at 10:00am PDT) that will be Match Play (2 of 3) Swiss tournaments. The top 16 participating players from Day One will advance to Day Two for a shot at the monthly title. Day Two will be a single tournament that features the top 16 participating players from Day One in a Match Play (2 of 3) Swiss tournament. At the end of four rounds of play, the top two participating players will face off in a single, winner-take-all Match Play (2 of 3) game to determine the qualifier champion!

- Date: Scheduled for Saturday May 17 – Sunday May 18, 2008
- Time: Starts Saturday the 17th at 10:00 AM PDT
- Entry Fee: None
- Format/Deck: Standard Constructed Match Play (2 out of 3)
- 1st Place: $500 USD, "Bye" into the 2008 Legends of Norrath Championships, paid air travel to Gen Con Indy, 4-day Gen Con Indy badge, and the winner's likeness on an upcoming Legends of Norrath game card.
- 2nd Place: $750 USD
- 3rd - 5th Place: $400 USD
- 6th - 11th Place: $200 USD
- 12th - 15th Place: $75 USD
- 16th Place: $50 USD
